2020 calls for some innovative solutions, and this one takes the cake in making mask wearing a bit easier! We made these mask chains to clip to our masks so they can hang close by when removed. We’ve got a list of supplies below, you might have some of them at home already. It’s a great activity for the kiddos too!

There are a ton of bead options in many styles but here are some of our favorites!
Steps
- Cut a piece of elastic cord. You want the chain length to be about 24 – 28 inches. Leave additional cord for tying off the ends to the clips.
- Tie an alligator clip to the end of the cord.
- Fill your cord with beads in a fun design.
- Add a second alligator clip to finish the chain and knot it off.
- Cover the knots on the clips with tacky glue to ensure they are secure.
- Cut excess cord from the clips. Allow glue to dry fully before using.
