Orlando Science Center

This is fun for the whole family! The museum has fun for all ages. I think I had more fun than my two year old when I took him. Bring a picnic lunch, to enjoy under the trees in the field or grab a sandwich at their sub shop. Need a caffeine pick me up? Head to the 2nd floor for their hidden coffee shop.
Central Florida Zoo

Take a day to enjoy the wild side of Orlando. Central Florida Zoo is a home for 350 animals. Pet and feed some barnyard animals, give a long neck giraffe a snack, and see what a Rhinos skin feels like with their various side adventures you can take on your visit.
Movies in the Park
Depending on what area of Orlando you reside, there is a movie in the park nearby. Most of the set ups have a food truck or two, popcorn and treats for the family, but of course bring your blanket or comfy folding chair and enjoy a flick with the family on the lawn. As the temperature warms up, this is a great option to beat the heat over the weekend. With tubing and plenty of picnic space, this place is great for family time. They even have a great shallow spot for the kids to wade in and a sandy beach spot for your builders and diggers. Make sure you get there early, the park closes its lot once they reach capacity.
