When you live in Central Florida, sometimes you have to take full advantage of our tourist areas.  Right now, down on I-Drive you can find a roaring good time at the Extreme Dinosaurs: The Exhibition.  You’ll step into a world of life-sized, moving, roaring animatronic dinosaurs.  And boy do they roar.  If you have littles you’ll want to give them a minute to adjust.  It’s awesomely loud inside and the motion activated dinosaurs can really get going if you zip through too fast.

If your kids love learning about prehistoric creatures head down for a few hours of fun.  Real and replica fossils are on display, several full-size skeletons, a dig site play area, and several other hands on activities.

Most fascinatingly to the adults, many of the dinosaurs had fur and feathers.  This was news to me!  I’ll have to go re-watch Jurrassic Park and see what Jeff Goldblum has to say about that.  Most fascinating to my three-year-old, the fossilized poop.  For obvious reasons that she got to say a potty word out in public.  Most fascinating to my one-year-old, a big dark room he got to run back and forth through and see all the lights and sounds.

We had a great time here and so will you! We’ve got a giveaway on our Facebook – so make sure you like us on Facebook and comment on this post to be entered to win 4 tickets for your family.
