Enjoy a sunny afternoon outdoors in Winter Park. Foxtail Coffee, Bear and Peacock, and Create Your Nature have a shared green space so you can grab your snack and drink of choice and chill out. Buttermilk Bakery is nearby as well. You probably want to grab a few extra treats to go and extend the joy.
Infusion Tea in College Park is a great destination to take a break. It’s a restaurant and tea shop as well as a store expertly curated with adorable goods. Plus there’s often a massage therapist there with a chair waiting for you.
If you need a caffeine boost and a quiet space to read a book, CFS Coffee in Winter Park is the perfect spot for you. They have a great little nook with lots of pillows and cushions for you to snuggle up in and get carried away.
Get a little bit of luxury at the Alfond Inn. Grab a drink at the bar or sit down for a delicious meal at Hamilton’s Kitchen. Take advantage of the gorgeous courtyard and dine and drink outside. The hotel has a large gallery collection, so spend some time walking through and taking in the art.
Take a walk through Lukas Nursery and enjoy the endless plants and greenery. Dream about a new garden you can create at home or grab a little plant for your desk. There’s so much to see. It’s a dreamy quiet place for a little break.

What is The Heavy? It’s the coolest place to do the things and see stuff. We’ll admit it’s a little hard to describe. Truly though, it’s a little slice of heaven in the old Lombardi’s Seafood Market. It’s a perfectly curated coffee shop, pop up spot, plant boutique, and hangout. Grab a cereal milk latte and take a seat for a blissful escape.
In Altamonte Springs, Cranes Roost Park will provide you a perfect walking spot. The path is one mile around so grab your shoes and start walking. Festivals and concerts occur quite often in the park so you’re bound to stumble upon lots of fun.
Host your own food crawl for one at East End Market in Audubon Park or Plant Street Market in Winter Garden. Grab a drink, some food, and a treat and settle in to hang out and relax.
Grab a blanket, pack a picnic, and head to Lake Lily Park in Maitland. You can take a walk and then settle in on a shady spot near the lake for a peaceful afternoon.
