Going out to eat with kids is about way more than where you can get a good meal. You’ve got to know it’s safe to take the kids. This can make it hard to try new places. You’ve got your safe spots, you stick to it….and you’re good to go.
One of our favorite things to do, even though it is tougher with kids, is try out new restaurants. I’ve made a list of places we found in 2018 that we will be heading back to this year. I am getting hungry just thinking about these… it’s going to be a delicious year!
Steak on Fire
7541 Sand Lake Road Orlando, FL 32819
Talk about a #Dadlunch. I loved this place for a great steak at a good price! The order-at-the-counter setting is relaxed enough to take the kids and quick enough compared to fancier restaurants that might be more of a hassle with kids.
À La Cart
609 Irvington Ave. Orlando, FL 32803
This is a totally fun spot to take the kids. There are games and toys for them to play, and a little enclosed area for them to spread out a bit. The food is great too, everyone can order something different at the mini food truck roundup.
Bento Asian Kitchen
501 Orlando Avenue #221 Winter Park, FL 32789
Sometimes Asian food with kids is tough. However, our kids loved the food and we thought it was really good too. This is an average-friendly spot for kids… nothing special like toys and there are limited booths to trap the kids in, but it is still well worth it.
Slice by Pizza Bruno
131 N. Orange Avenue Orlando, FL 32801
So I am not sure this one counts as NEW because Pizza Bruno has been around, but the new location will make it a little easier to access for us. Honestly, though, I just want to always be eating those garlic knots. I’ll be picking up a couple for a walk around Lake Eola with the kids!
Bem Bom
3101 Corrine Dr, Orlando, FL 32803
Okay, this one isn’t really for the kids. It’s a bonus for date night. Do yourself a favor, get a babysitter and have a nice night out.
Did I miss any? Let us know, we are always looking for new places to try- especially if they are good for kids!
