We are compiling a list of free food and other services that are currently in place to help families in need during coronavirus. We will continue to update as information becomes available. If you know of a program or service that can be added to the list please let us know.
Testing Site
The parking lot of the Orange County Convention Center will be used as a testing zone for coronavirus, according to convention center officials.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency will provide drive-thru tests in tents and the Florida Division of Emergency Management will also utilize the parking lot space.
Food
Chicken Fire is providing free kids meal to-go boxes during school closures.
Maple Street Biscuit Co. in Oviedo will provide a free cinnamon biscuit or free biscuit with jam for children home from school.
Second Harvest Food Bank – food locator will help you find food assistance.
Summer Break Spot meal sites have been opened during this time. Find a site where meals are being provided while school is out.
Meal Sites
Orange County
Grab-and-Go meals will be available for pick-up between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. in the car loop of each school site. At this time, students must be present to receive the meals. District staff will distribute the meals directly to those in their vehicle (drive-thru service) upon arrival. In addition, meals will be given directly to students walking and/or riding a bike. Based on recommendations from our federal and state leaders, all meals should be taken home to eat.

OUC has suspended disconnections due to nonpayment.
Charter Communications will offer FREE Spectrum broadband and Wi-Fi access for 60 days to households with K-12 and/or college students who do not already have a Spectrum broadband subscription at any service level up to 100 Mbps.
